Boys, Boys, Boys...

Boys are just different!!! They are busy, busy, busy and into everything. Mine are totally inseperable and wrapped up in each other at the moment. So they seem to get into twice as much trouble!

Anyway I have a thing for Charlotte Rhys vanilla products...



So I have the "atmosphere", the pillow spray, the bath cream, the candles and so on. Well I fed and bathed all the kids today (Roland was at cricket) and put them into their rooms at 6:30pm for play time. All my kids lights are out by 7pm because we have to be up by 6am for school and also because I really need ME time.

I suddenly started smelling Vanilla, thought it was a bit odd but left it. Five minutes later I decided it needed investigating. Well my dear little Oliver and Cameron had taken the room spray from their bathroom and saturated their bedroom. I nearly choked when I walked in. Well 5 minutes of open doors and windows it was fine.

So I read them a story and into bed. But 5 minutes later I hear another noise... and this is what I found!



Now we PEE together!!!

Fabric for Hannah's Room

I went shopping today and got everything I need to redo Hannah's bedroom. She is a total pink princess, so I've bought pink.


This is the fabric I got. Along with the same in white. Plus a large can of pink paint. I'm painting the walls pink, the curtains will be in the white fabric, the blind in pink and the duvet covers white on one side, pink on the other.

And Now the Boys...

For the first time in months, I actually had 4 hours to myself today. And it was bliss! Hannah and Megan went back to school last Tuesday and the boys today. It was actually quite a bizarre feeling - I had nothing to do! And I even read my book for 2 hours.


Although I must say, I did feel a little bit guilty about that!

Now I'm looking for tasks to occupy me! I think I'm going to redo Hannah's room first. She's a real pink friek, so I'm going to make her room nice and girly! I think I'll head off to Treehouse (fabulous baby and kids decor store) tomorrow to see what they've got.

Girls are Back to School!

After a very long first quarter of 2008, I'm finally getting near to having some me time again! The girls went back to school yesterday and boy oh boy, what a difference just having the boys at home.

From Golf to Italian

After our morning of golf we went to our favourite Italian for some yummy cheesy pizza! The pizza is fantastic and the kids playground awesome!

Snakes and Ladders

My Meg is amazing... She got the snakes and ladders out of the cupboard and got everyone involved. They played for over an hour.

So I have the world's most fantastic au pair. She is brilliant with the kids and they just adore her. And after leaving my camera at home for our outing today, she took pics and gave them to me... plus a few extra!!!
