Breakfast at Scarecrows

Seeing that Sunday was such a fabulous day (wind free in Cape Town in Feb is unheard of), we decided to go to Scarecrows in Hout Bay for breakfast. It is a fabulous place for kids and even better for mums and dads because they get to relax and enjoy their food! Although we always laugh... as soon as we go to a place the cherubs are allowed to run around, they sit like darlings at the table. But when we go somewhere that doesn't have kiddy play facilities, they won't sit down. Murphys Law I guess!!!

Somehow the men in our family seem to get more attention than the women! So Hannah and Cameron attached themselves to daddy and Megan and Oliver to grandpa!

And granny shows true dedication on the swings! I think I spend at least an hour a day pushing Hannah at home. She's obsessed and will go on and on until somebody pushes her!

One of the big attractions for the kids are all the "rides" they can do. Now I don't mean rides as in theme park stuff, but the small ones you pop a coin into and the horse or train, Thomas or Dora bop up and down.

Dad and Oliver on the digger... I'm not sure who had more fun - the adult or the child!
